Interior rear view mirror

I'm keen to see what the original interior rear view mirror looks like please. Any pics?

I would also like to know how it is mounted in the cab? Above the windscreen or on top of the dash?

My truck has no screw holes that I can find.

Re: Interior rear view mirror

There are a few good shots of the inside mirror in this bring a trailer add for a truck that sold a couple of years ago. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/19...bed-fleetside/

I'm thinking that one has the 55/59 Day/night mirror in it https://www.classicparts.com/1955-59...ctinfo/57-255/ The one you can flip when the guys with the led lights come up behind you.

This is the bracket https://www.classicparts.com/1955-59...ctinfo/57-010/
Plain low budget ones had the same mirror that started with 47 or earlier used this one. https://www.classicparts.com/1947-59...ctinfo/57-212/

Then if you want to have a happy significant other you get one of these for the back side of the visor https://www.classicparts.com/1947-72...ctinfo/25-785/

Classic parts is just easier for me to hunt and find the info on. Your favorite to deal with truck trinket vendor should have the same items.
