Stop Cutting your doors and dashes! ;)

Hi guys, My son and I have have been fixing up my 71 for him to drive a couple of years before he goes off to school. As we all know the single 6 x 3 or whatever speaker in these is less than desirable. So we came up with this rig, got him the speaker for Christmas. Its not a 12 inch sub or anything but its plenty loud for my tin can, no new holes... blue tooth. It doesn't have FM but we hardly ever use it anyway as we use Spotify etc.. If he wants commercials he can get I-Heart. Here are some pics of the stuff I used. I clipped the hooks to the springs under the bench and then to the strap off the boombox

Those are a nice size. I've always put those mini-box speakers under the seat. I keep extra speaker wire so I can move them outside or on trips I can put them facing me on the floor at the kick panels
