1956ish GMC 2 ton
I am out of my comfort zone. I don’t know anything about these old trucks. I have a chance to buy a farm truck that has been sitting for over 15 years. Has bad engine but was driven to where it is sitting in a machine shed. Overall pretty good shape. Good bed with hoist. Does it have much value? What should it bring? Thanks.

Pretty cool with those hinged front fenders. Not running it is not worth much, under $1000 in my opinion.

Re: 1956ish GMC 2 ton
That thing isn't worth more than scrap, you should leave it be. But just for grins, where is that truck located exactly??? :-)
As it sits, not running, likely no brakes etc, I would offer somewhere in the $1000-$2500 range depending on how nice the rear hoist is. A few arguing points to get the price point down would be the unknowns in running gear, brakes, slight damage, cost to bring a wrecker with a winch out to retrieve it if the weight doesn't surpass their limits etc etc. But that depends too on if you are planning to flip or restore. I'd say plenty of potential to restore but if posted well/cleaned up and detailed some on fleabay or large nearby city CL's, you get easily get $4-5k if not more to the right guy. COE cabs only are listed between $4-10k out on the west coast, but a snub nose is a bit more unique, especially if complete.
