55.2-59 Another 59 GMC Fleet question - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

Headlights --- does anyone know if the single headlights for a 59 GMC Fleet are from a 47-55 headlight buckets or from a 55-57 headlight buckets? It appears the trim ring for the Fleet is from the 47-55 models.

Headlight bucket assembly must be from a 57 GMC/Chevy. The adapter (black) is the original from a 59 GMC Fleet. Factory must have trimmed the double, riveted the adapter plate, then primed and painted fender.

The grill support panel which is missing is the same as a 58/59 Chevy/GMC -- about $250. I do have the original Fleet front bumper and brackets. It is the heavy duty bumper.
