I seem to like the auto for work and the manual for play. When i go fishing and mudding I love the control of the automatic to get the truck in tight places, and maintain nice speed. I like being able to lock it in first and not have to fool with a clutch. All the new UPS trucks are autos and I bet they really get used to that. Manuals are just fun to play with, not stop and go traffic.

Ive sold off quite a few trucks because they were automatic. I learned to drive in a stick and never could stand the feel of an automatic. SLOPPY !

Man that's a tuff one; I guess I'm 50/50 on this one? I have both, and each one is better in different situations.

Yeah, I don't know what to do with my left foot in an auto vehicle. I'll search with my left foot when I'm coming to a stop and panic, Where's the clutch! I've even almost shifted my auto colum shifter like my 3 on the tree! 3rd to 2nd shift, not a good thing to try in and auto! lol

I've finally got tired of the 4 speed with Granny Low. If anyone has an auto with transfer case for a 4x4, I'm more than ready to trade. Wife can't drive the stick and says it's impracticle....hmm.

dink, dink, dink... drive. Get where I'm going... dink, dink, dink... parked. No sweat beads from my brow, no sprained rotator cuff, no busted knees on middle passenger.

I'm with Bram on this one.
Sometimes I get sick of shifting all the time in the city. Highway it's not so bad. I think in the end though, I'd love to have an auto instead of my current 3-speed.
