Any Gearheads Out There? Lol
I picked up this engine at a dump. I do not recognize it. I have been on the Internet looking at casting #s, piston, crank, and Rod numbers to no avail.
Block N62A Crank N62C500 & $Z42H Piston L-957 Rod N56D400

Re: Any Gearheads Out There? Lol
yah, those numbers call up some allis, massey, and continental engine applications..
depending on your plans for it, I'd suggest cleaning it up and posting pics on antique tractor forums.. might be someone out there dying for that old engine.. good luck! https://www.google.com/amp/s/dieselc...a.html%3famp=1

It's a Continental engine, that's the engine manufacturer. Lots of brands used them. Great little engines that had an awesome sound, can always hear one and know what it is. Lot of older gasoline welders used them too.
