woohoo new parts!

stopped by my buddies parts store on the way home from work and picked up one of these 1406 carbs, he has a newer edelbrock high rise intake for me at home that im going to pick up and bead blast this weekend and maybe just maybe ill have this stuff bolted on in a couple days! also im on the hunt for some nice valve covers, id like some of those finned aluminum ones but they are hard to come by....so if anyone has a set they want to part with that would be awesome

Would you be interested in these? Brand new, never had a gasket glued to them, or tightened down. $50.00 plus shipping.

no thanks dan, im pretty set on some of those 60's style ones with the rounded front and rear edges, also the low style covers to fit under my alternator etc, im sure tall ones would work but id have to adjust a few things, thanks anyways
