Nice trucks, interesting improvements, but still no Manual Trans.

Re: 2021 Medium Duty Updates
I put a deposit down on a 2020 Silverado K3500HD Cab and Chassis in August of 2019. Finally got a sequence code 2500, sent to production. I'll be lucky if I get this truck a year after deposit.

Re: 2021 Medium Duty Updates
WOW, that's crazy. When I ordered my '92 GMC K3500 it took six months and I thought that was bad.

Re: 2021 Medium Duty Updates
A manual transmission in trucks like these would be a hard sell in my area. What would be a popular addition to the Silverado medium duty would be a gasoline engine option though. The company I work for bought a few 6500's recently, and they are really nice trucks. We are planning on buying more soon.

Re: 2021 Medium Duty Updates
Gotta agree with Bob here, love my manual trans duramax but those new Allison's are years ahead. I would much rather have the new 6.6 gas in a 5500 than manual.
Ideally would like the gas engine and something like a Clark/fuller 8 or 9 speed

Re: 2021 Medium Duty Updates
Just got a note from my dealer, targeted production date of 07/06, Deposit was last August. Wow. Wonder if it has anything to do with ordering the LT option (all of the same options aren't available on a Cab Chassis now as on a 3500HD pickup, wanted the Highlander Grill, can't get it)
