Three Speed on The Tree Steering Column Conversion

I converted my three speed manual steering column collar to a floor shift setup by installing a floor shift collar. After the conversion, I can still twist the collar by hand and its only limited by the wiring harness. Does anyone know if there is a part I'm missing to lock the collar in place? I also installed a new lower bearing and retainer after removing all of the three speed linkage arms. Do I just need to cover the hole with the small sheet metal cover specific to the floor shift columns? Am I missing anything else? Thanks.

Thumbs up Re: Three Speed on The Tree Steering Column Conversion

When I did mine I used the backup screw holes and put long screws in it to hold it in place. It want turn by hand that's for sure. Here is my thread on doing a auto to floor column.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.
