AC Control Panel

FULL REFUND MADE TO randy500

VERY nice A/C control panel ready to keep your cab cool this summer. Very minimal flea sized chrome specs, lens is nice with NO scuffs, cracks or lost lettering. All levers intact and work as intended, vacuum switch with ports intact. Fan switch appears almost like new, shows very lite marks on electrical connection blades. Switch operates firmly with a solid click. One lens pic with camera flash back and lens pic with no flash trying to show how clean lens is. $50 plus shipping, money order, do not have Paypal.

Re: AC Control Panel

I got the control panel today.
Its broken, missing the plate that holds the levers in place. See picture with tape on the plate that is missing.

Randy, am VERY sorry I missed that completely. Will refund your purchase $$ and the shipping costs. It will be Monday before I can get the refund sent off to you. Keep the control unit for what ever parts can be used. The electric fan switch and the vacuum control I believe are good to use. Again, VERY SORRY about this. Will have your refund headed your way ASAP.

I appreciate your generous offer.
I believe i can drill some holes and safety wire the plate from a broken control panel onto this one, it wasn't my intention to have to work on it though.
How about you refund me half of what i paid and we call it fixed?

With my pictures and me pointing out that its missing, makes it obvious to even you.

The levers are looser than normal and when i investigated why i found the broken part. Someone changed the upper lever and didn't put the part back on, probably because its swaged on which doesn't leave an easy way to re install it.

Re: AC Control Panel

Not having A/C in my Plain Jane 4x4 I don't have much experience with A/C controls. This piece was in a box of parts I acquired some time ago and my limited experience did not catch this.

Randy, I thank you for your offer but I would feel better about this to make a complete refund to you of the entire amount. "IF" you find that you can actually somehow make use of the control, fine. I just feel I owe you a full refund which I will be doing this coming Monday. I've been on this board for to many years and have made many friends both in person and on-line and to me doing the right thing is only right.

Re: AC Control Panel

Just wanted to let it be known that a FULL refund of purchase price to include shipping has been made to randy500 for the defective A/C control panel. He offered a partial refund be made to him but I would not feel right at all about that. It is not my intentions to sell defective parts or items and this is the only way I see to correct such an action. o0[p-0000000
