Re: balls joints and tie rod

Summit has the CPP kits for as cheap as anywhere...This kit has the trailing arm and control arm bushings... https://www.summitracing.com/parts/c...SABEgIEHvD_BwE Or, go to Rock Auto online and cross reference the part numbers for 1972 Chevy C/10 and get Moog parts...Once you get the part numbers you can shop around for the deals. Rock Auto kills you in shipping. Make sure you specify parts for the 72 C/10 because some of that stuff is unique to 72's only...Good luck

I got my complete front end from Jegs. All Moog components, all matching batch numbers. They were all made at the same time, from the same facility.

Not very expensive and excellent service from JEGS.

Having dealt with my son's 69 and not knowing what parts were in it. I would say go for the whole kit. You know everything is right and you don't have to deal with trying to figure out what fits and what doesn't. Just my two cents worth.

Re: balls joints and tie rod

If you got a complete 72 front end then everything should be 72, provided you got the drag link as well.

Ball joints and tie rods have to match the year spindle you use.
Hopefully you have the 72 centerlink. Then everything else will work fine.

Re: balls joints and tie rod

If your rebuilding, Rock auto has replacement Moog ball joints etc, at a decent price.
