Brake Booster Seal

I am trying to find the seal that goes around the Brake Pedal Rod and goes into the Brake Booster. I am getting a lot of hot air coming into the cab and I believe this is where it may be coming from.

I can find kits that have every grommet for the firewall except the one for the Brake Pedal.

Re: Brake Booster Seal

I got mine from LMC, a bit cheaper than GMC Pauls.

LMC = Made in China
GMCPauls = Proudly Made In USA
We could sell the Chinese version for easily 1/3 less than the USA made and make double what we do on the USA made version but our's will still be good in 15-20 years based upon the rubber compounds used, I can't say that about theirs.

IMO, we should all be buying as much USA built product as is possible.

Re: Brake Booster Seal

Does anyone know what the difference is between the 8699126-4 & 2522016-4 (other than the vent holes) not sure which one is the correct one for me.

Agreed! I’ve never had problems with something from GMCPaul and I know if I did they would stand behind their product. When I first started out I would buy LMC before I knew about GMCPaul’s, but now I only go there for the mostly correct diagrams!

The first one is for power brakes and goes at the firewall. The second one is for NON-power brakes at the firewall. The third one is for the power brake booster itself where the rod goes into the booster.
