door popper installs?
anyone ever done an install? going to do one tonight and was looking for some tips...

I didnt use poppers, it opens just fine without. What kind of poppers did you get?

looks like you just drill a hole in the rocker and it bolts into that and is spring loaded with a tensioner screw in the end of it. sound familiar?
it's for my 96 blazer and the door won't open easily the way it is. i'd like it to pop open in case i have my arms full.

I actually had one in the hole where one of those rubbber stoppers go but it pushed the door out from the body and made it look like crap so I took it out. Lets see some pics when you get it in, I would like to see how it turns out.

done. i'll get a pic tonight but man that was the easiest thing i think i have done!
there was a hole in the door, i guess for a rubber stop, and it fit perfectly in there. done deal! works great!

yeahh its pretty easy installation with low maintenence. only advise id give is to make sure you get a quality popper. i had a cheap set that didnt really have any problems but after installing a better set it was great, they swung out bout half open. ill have a pic later
