Engine help needed!

I finally got my 69 c20 up and running. I thought I was smart in having a shop install the new electronic ignition system (MSD HEI distributor, coil and electronics). It ran like a champ out of the shop. The next day I took it out and made a few stops. I try to start it back up and it acted like it was out of gas. I put more gas and checked the line to make sure gas was going to the carb -checks out ok. Before I take it back to the shop I thought I would recruit some thoughts from the board on what could be wrong.

I pull the coil wire and to check for spark. Not much of a spark visable. I checked the wiring and made sure the connections were all good.

Here's what I'm thinking? either the coil or electronic ignition is bad.

Any other ideas on what else could be wrong along with how to check it?

Thanks

if they used the original wiring in the truck(resistor wiring to the diz) then you probably fried something due to low voltage to your system
