Arrow Tn. Members - Need Help

As Some Of You May Or May Not Know, I Bought / Am Buying The
72 K5 4wd Blazer From "1972blazer" In Ca. I Need To Know Where
To Get It Painted? I Do Not Trust Anyone In Jackson, Tn. For A
Job As Big As This. This Blazer Is Pretty Much Perfect And I Do
Not Want A Poor Quality Paint Job, I Know It Will Not Be Cheap
But I Need Someone Who Has A Reputation For Turning Out The
Kind Of Paint Jobs That Show Cars / Trucks Have. They Do Not
Need To Be Close, But They Must Have Pic's Of Previous Paint
Jobs And Refrences That I Can Call / Go Look At. Please Advise.

I know there are a few shops in Fulton, KY and South Fulton, TN that do work, including Reagan's muffler shop in South Fulton, who happens to be a distant relative of mine. I can't vouch for their work, but you could look into that area, and see what you come up with.

Check with The Truck Shop in Crossville, TN. Ask for Jerry Brown at 931-484-7539. If that does not work call Jamie in Pigeon Forge, TN at 865-908-6642, he is currently doing the body and paint on my frame off show truck. He's done work for me before and is very good for the price. He also does sandblasting for about 1/2 of what everyone else gets.

I would suggest you hit a few car shows/cruise-ins in your area and ask questions of the owners of cars with paint you admire. Sometimes you can find hobbyists that have a lot of experience painting that will "cut you a deal".

I have seen some really good looking paint jobs from Malibu Collision Repair in Knoxville. They have a seperate department that works on restorations.
