Prepping the drop spindles for paint. I used VHT Caliper paint to resist corrosion and chemicals such as brake fluid/cleaner.
Neat trick I found watching youtube, if you tap the edges with a hammer, it masks a hole perfectly. The caliper paint stated it needed a baking process for curing to give it that protective state.
