1964 K10 Shortbed
No, unfortunately, I didn’t get it bought but I have been after this one for about 12 years now. It sits in a little town about an hour from where I live and about ten minutes from the lake we used to always go to. my parents came across this pickup when they were at the lake and came into town to get groceries, and got the guys phone number. Called him, said he had a guy offering him 5000 for it and so I left it at that. Couple years later i checked on it, still there but him and his wife moved into assisted living. Tried buying it from the family after they had spoke with him about it, no dice. So Today I went to look at a 72 in that little town, and it had been probably 5 years since I had last checked on it. Didn’t buy the 72 so I decided to go by the old place and see if that little short bed was still there, figured it was long gone but she’s still there. Hasn’t moved since I first saw it a dozen years ago. Tried buying it from the old man again but he said he gave it to his grandson and he’d have to check with him. Always wanted a short step side 4x4 and haven’t given up on this one yet. He bought it new and immediately took the fenders off and put them in a shed and they’re still there today. But here are some pictures, still working on buying it and hopefully will someday. My apologies that this got long winded lol

Nothing long-winded about that.
I enjoy these. There was a 65 Nova Station Wagon that I saw for years in a old guys back yard. I'm talking 25 years. A friend of mine asked the ol man 15 years ago how much did he want for it. The ol man said it wasn't for sale. Watched it rust away back there.
