Re: What have you learned new about these truck recently.
That there are 3 or more versions of factory bench seats that came installed over the years and that there are 3 different seat mounts of different heights and that's not counting the C40-C60 later versions that look very similar.

Re: What have you learned new about these truck recently.
I have gained so much knowledge and information from the folks here. But the most recent is to always put a safety chain on the darn hood when your son changes out the latch. LOL. Or else you will be driving an hour to get another used hood. LOL.

Re: What have you learned new about these truck recently.
Interesting. I knew there are at least two different types of seat adjusters, one set is taller.

I learned that the CST badge on the door of a pre 69 trucks is used on CST blazers in the later years.

Re: What have you learned new about these truck recently.
I learned that the door seals that go between the front fender and cowl are not exclusive to 71-72 Cheyenne Supers and were also put on the 71-72 Cheyennes as well and I realized that the 1970 CST I had had them on too.

Re: What have you learned new about these truck recently.
I learned today that the drivers side stepside spare fender cut out came in two sizes depending on tire configuration. The 1/2 ton (silver colored K10) had the cut out for spare stop before the bottom body line, 3/4 ton (orange colored K20) had it go below to make a bigger opening.
