Disk conversion question

I've decided to tackle a front disk conversion on my 68 c10. I notice in the kit i'm looking at, it says it moves the wheels out 0.75" per side when converting from drum. Is this a problem? I saw a CPP kit that claims zero offset and will not move the wheels out any. Which should I go with?

Also, i'm going to go ahead and change the upper and lower control arms while im at it. What else should I consider changing?

Re: Disk conversion question

you can also look at using 73 to 87 front suspension to get disc brakes
as for CPP it seems you get what you pay for look them up in the search function on here to see many mixed reviews

Re: Disk conversion question

CPP is just like any other aftermarket company , Pick your parts wisely . I order Cpp parts thru Summit for the free shipping and support . I used the 0 off set 2 1/2" drop spindles and they fit perfect along with rotors and power steering pump , All Moog suspension parts from Rock auto etc,etc
