Stock Leaf Spring Recommendation

I'm needing to get some new leaf springs (stock height) for a 72 Blazer I just bought. Has anyone used General Spring out of Kansas City? They are close enough to me that I could save a bit on the shipping. But I was going to see if anyone had any experience with them good or bad. Thanks

Re: Stock Leaf Spring Recommendation

General spring in Gardner Kansas has great springs. They also have all the bushings and hardware you need. I have bought several sets of stock springs from them.

Re: Stock Leaf Spring Recommendation

Thanks Joe that's good to know. I really appreciate your feedback. So another question for you. Do you happen to have a recommendation on which of their springs to go with for a Blazer? There is a choice between 900lb and 1100lb fronts, and 1900lb and 2350lb for the rear. I called them and talked to someone about what would be best for me, but the guy I talked to wasn't really much help. I think I would prefer the lighter ones since I have no plans to haul or tow with it. Thanks again.

Re: Stock Leaf Spring Recommendation

I went with Deaver Spring for mine and they are perfect. Rides better than stock, and stock height. They don't list them on their website, but they have them in stock.
