Is this steering wheel worth anything?
Found this when cleaning out my attic. It's from a 69 C10 and is cracked in several places. Is it worth anything to someone who would get it restored, or should I just pitch it?

Re: Is this steering wheel worth anything?
It definitely has value. I've seen many much worse than yours. Also the repops don't have the best reviews.

Someone will want it. Looks like a 69 only color.

Well worth the cost of a premium membership to post it on the parts for sale board.

Seriously, it would be a PITA to pack and probably cost $20 to ship, so I may try Craigslist.

Getting ready to move after 20+ years in this house. Finding all kinds of stuff I forgot I had.

Re: Is this steering wheel worth anything?
Nothing personal, I don't make the rules here. What I was trying to say is that you would likely easily recoup the membership cost (which keeps the lights on and allows Josh and Liz able to keep this awesome community running for us) and make money above that. I've seen black steering wheels in worse condition than that sell for $150 or more on this board. Since that is a rare color it would command a premium to the right buyer. And if that buyer exists, chances are he's a member here.
I'll get my glasses next time so I can read the small font that says how long you've been a member :-) |

No need to apologize! Did you see the smiley face at the end of my comment?

Re: Is this steering wheel worth anything?
I just yanked my red one out of my '69 and was going to throw it away. It isn't near as nice as yours though.
