Spray-Bombs 67 C-30
Hey gang, I’m still around and I still love these trucks
Just picked up this C-30 today, not really sure what I’m gonna do with it, but it’s cool and needed a home First on the list is getting it running, was really hoping it would have a 292, but it has a small block (gotta run numbers and see what it is) It’s missing the fuel pump, dizzy cap, and alt Gonna see if I can rummage up some used parts tomorrow to try and get it popped off before I go buying anything Mmmmm C-30 Last edited by Spray-Bomb; 04-16-2020 at 08:29 PM. |

Re: I’m Baaaaack / 67 C-30
Well, I got it running
Started by installing a cap and rotor, a few plug wires, battery cables, and filling the bowl with fuel Once running I put a new fuel pump and water pump on, and an alternator Then I put a fuel tank and seat in it, went to start it to prime the fuel line and it lost spark So I wound up swapping the dizzy after changing the coil and ICM and couldn’t get the screw for the condenser out because the old dizzy had been full of rat crap Still no juice brakes, but the E-brake works for now Last edited by Spray-Bomb; 04-16-2020 at 08:31 PM. |

Re: I’m Baaaaack / 67 C-30
FYI, when you work on the carb, it might be good to drop the float in a can of gas, see if it floats. IF you buy a new float, beware the newer made brass floats don't do too well. Plastic is good...

Re: I’m Baaaaack / 67 C-30
68Gold/White, good to know about the new brass floats, I’ve still gotta get the part number off the carb so I can find a kit.
OldCreek, I really don’t know much about them. I’m pretty sure they’re older than the truck, but my 69 C-30 has them also... They’re a split ring wheel, 18” ZUBZ, thanks |

Love it! I have those wheels on my dump truck and I’ve thought they look good.
