It was owned by a friend of mine up until 1989. He went through a divorce and sold it without telling me. The gentleman I bought it from has owned it since then and only clocked about three thousand miles. He put a small block in it but I contacted the original owner and he still has the original engine, and I’m going to pick it up. He had the oil changed in the late 70s and the shop did not put the drain plug in and he didn’t make it far before he lost the engine. He rebuilt the original engine and it’s been sitting on an engine stand all these years. The truck had one repaint in the mid eighties and it looks remarkably good. I have the protector plate, build sheet and window sticker
