1960 Front Wheel Bearings
Is there a replacement for the ball type front wheel bearings? For my '57 passenger cars we always took the hubs from I believe a '67 or newer full size car replaced the brake drums with the '57 size and you were good to go with cheaper and better roller type bearings. Any comparable swap for my '60 1/2? Otherwise where do you guys get your front wheel bearings?

Front Outer Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): 330010, 457491, 6681389, 7451085, 909067, 909567, 909667, 909767, JD8588, JD8589, JD8590 Front Inner Alternate/OEM Part Number(s): 03699N, 909066, 909566, 909666, 909762 You can find em on ebay as well. Rock Auto Advanced Auto Parts I read somewhere (so I'm not sure) a pair of newer 1962-1968 half ton drum brake hubs slide right on to the original spindles of the 60. Maybe someone else on here knows?

you are correct rocknrod 62 up drum hubs will work on a 60-61...as i upgraded to tapered rollers years ago..

Suggest posting or checking in WTB or Parts for sale. Someone may have some hubs left over from a disc brake upgrade. I sold the hubs off my 63 to member wanting to make the change as you are.

You can use '63-'70 C10 hubs.
