Re: Cab back wall carpet
I have used quality double-sided duct tape for horizontal trunk panels with carpet. It is not permanant, but it is great becuase you can peel the carpet back off or access to clean/dry then add another strip of dbl tape and its back on. I put a peice of regular duct tape on the panel and one on the carpet, then the double sided stuff inbetween. The tape on the carpet likes to be heated with a heat gun (slightly) after it is applied and worked into the carpet backing.
I have also used 3m spray adhesive and attached the carpet to the type of very thin plywood that is used under kitchen flooring. The carpet sticks to the cut-to-fit plywood very well if done right and the panel can be removed for cleaning, given that a panel can be cut-to-fit to your liking.
