Question disk brake conversion

on the disk brake conversion kit it sed to use 68-72 rotors and 73-77 calipers.why can't you use the 68-72 calipers.

What kit are you talking about? There are no 68-70 rotors or calipers, only 71 up had disc brakes. Which rotors and or calipers are needed would depend on what the spindles were made to fit.

the kit is from chevy duty, it has the brackets,bearings and hardwar. it go's 99.95

If it uses a bracket instead of a new spindle it sounds like the bracket is made for the 73-77 calipers. With stock spindles you would use 71-72 5 lug rotors.

That kit uses car rotors and calipers you would have to have them plugged and drilled for the truck bolt pattern.
