Unistrut comes in 10' lengths. I would use 2 ten foot pieces to spread the weight out even more?

I am no structural engineer but worked commercial construction (electrician) for 40 years.

Without seeing the garage or trusses I am just guessing here. Could you also run some threaded rod up from the Unistrut to another part of the truss/rafter?

I have been told my stuff doesn't fall down but sinks into the ground from being over built?
