abracadabra!
For some odd reason, my dash was cut out between the Hvac controls and the ashtray . Seeing the patch online goes for 90 bucks was crazy too, considering there is plenty of body work to do to get that flat area flat- and using paint stick sanding blocks aint fun. So I found Richard2717 was selling a dash section the other day and met up with him, got the dash and some bumper brackets, then got onto fixing my dash. Ill do the bodywork when I tear the truck apart, but here is what I had and did:

Re: abracadabra!
That is the best way to do it a lot less tedious sanding and grinding. Looks like a nice job. Still fitting mine but it will go home shortly.

Re: abracadabra!
Nice! My patch wasn't quite as big, otherwise I would have gone a little further out. Did the job just fine though and will only need a little bit of filler.
