Injectors
The last time I ran the pickup I could hear that it was running weird. Acted like it was missing. I left it idle and went inside for a bit. Came back out and it had died. I have never replaced tbi injectors before. Should I try to clean them first? If they need replacing, where is the best place to buy them as far as good quality and decent price? As you can see, I ordered a noid light set and both sides light up so I am definitely getting juice to the injectors. And I changed the fuel filter so it's not that. Its has spark so that's not the proble either. And when I turn the key on I can hear the fuel pump kick on. Thanks for any info.

Re: Injectors
Also I want to add that my tank selector switch I ordered off Ebay is wrong. Of course it claimed to be correct for an 87 but it's for 86 an older. There compatibility chart cant always be trusted. Just in case this helps someone in need of a tank selector switch for an 87. Its nearly identical to an 86 but not quite the same. Another 20 down the drain. I ordered the proper one today.

You can move the throttle a few times with the engine off and there will be enough pressure to see the spray pattern from the TBI.

Re: Injectors
I suggest you find a shop that can clean and test the injectors. It's fairly cheap or at least cheaper than buying a new set of unknown quality.

Re: Injectors
I have replaced the injectors and it wasn't hard at all. If I remember right the injectors are only like $30.00 each. I just got them from O'Reilly Auto.
