Any help shipping a bare cab?

Anyone have any leads for shipping a bare cab from CA to MN? I don't think Fastenal is delivering in ca at the moment. Not in a huge hurry if anyone has any names or numbers for shipping. Thanks.
Even just to WY if that makes a difference.

... you can try Uship as well. You'll get a ton of emails, but you may just get a price that's in your range. It's worth a try.
Just FYI, the first few estimates you get may/will be high, but wait it out a bit, you'll eventually get some realistic estimates.

Also, be sure to ask if they will be the one picking up and delivering or if they will broker it out. Using someone that brokers it out becomes a nightmare if there is an issue with damage, etc.

Re: Any help shipping a bare cab?

I hire a tow truck driver to go pick up my C30 and bring it here from Oklahoma to Kansas. It turned out to be the least expensive route short of doing it myself (which I couldn't do anyway). Maybe talk to someone who has a trailer and will make the trip. Know any "hot shot" truckers in the area?

Re: Any help shipping a bare cab?

Might be a long shot, but I sent you a PM on a company I used (Platinum Shipping) to ship trucks from CA to NV. They typically service the western states, but you never know, they might do WY or MN.
I was very pleased with their transports.

Vacaville. I am in no hurry on my end. I think it can sit for a little bit if I pay for it.

I have an ad on uship and contacted 2 private guys and no prices yet.

Plan on paying around $1.00/mile. I would try to get it cheaper than that if possible. They will negotiate, to a degree. I used to do some hot shot running part time a few years back.

I hope it isn't that expensive. I would hate to pay almost $2000 shipping for a $500 cab.
Not a single price from uship or a return call from the private numbers I have tried. Guess it wasn't meant to be...
