Thumbs up So it begin's

I took the Ramp truck to the guy to start the front end swap. He is gonna pull the whole front end craddle and put the 86 model in it. He is also gonna replace the worn out motor mounts also while he has it. Got all the parts ordered and should have them all by Wedensday.
The only thing I'm not sure on is the pitman arm. If I need to use the one on it now are get one for a 86?

Any thoughts on this.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: So it begin's

Does the truck have a late model power sector on it? If so I would use the right pitman arm for the application.

The guy I bought the 86 front end from wouldn't let me have the box are the pitman arm. The ramp has power steering on it now.

Don't throw anything out, if you have space store it. Either you or someone else will find value in it in the future of course.

The other thing some parts may not be made anymore and you may need it to finish your truck
