I'm changing over from a three cluster gauge to a seven cluster gauge and my question is, is the wire harness going to be the same, hopefully a matching fit, I hope I hope.
Thanks for any help

Re: Gauge Cluster Question

The connector itself is the same but the wires are in different locations. Therefore, you will need to re-pin it.

Here is more discussion.

Re: Gauge Cluster Question

There are other things that are different as well. For example the temp sensor for a light and gauge are different, etc.

The term used “idiot light “ has been around since time began. I prefer the proper name “warning light “.

I have a thread that explains how to re pin the connector and the tool needed .

Any questions in this contact me.
