My c10 always seems to wander or lift in the front when driving into the wind, and there’s a lot of wind in the valleys of tenn. so I built this out of stainless steel. There’s an air damn that curves around the front behind it and the spoiler helps push the nose down. I was surprised it actually works!

I also built traction bars, track bar, mirrors and a rear spoiler for it outta stainless too.

As it may help in the handling I'm not sold on the look,sorry.

I always have a deeper appreciation for the parts built by the person than the parts bought and installed. It's Made in the USA and a custom build. Great job!.

I LIKE IT! The truck looks tough and I have always leaned towards the road rally look.

It is a leaf spring truck, in fact it had 9 leafs per side when I got it, some kind of up hd upgrade?

Thanks, my dad taught me to weld when I was 9 and I’ve been building stuff ever since. Just got this c10 after my 70 step side got munched underneath a tractor trailer. My last one was more traditional, going for a more track modified look on this one.

Thanks! I appreciate that! The road rally, dirt track race truck was kinda what I was going for. I’m just glad it’s functional as well or I woulda felt stupid.

No worries it’s defin not traditional but I’ve done traditional before so I went a little street modified this time. I’ve got a pretty traditional 67 firebird and a plumb near bone stock 73 nova too so I’m all over the place!

Here’s my chopper I built with a buddy of mine about 20 years ago, I use to ride all the time but my nerve damage has gotten way worse so I just screw around with my truck now. Still got my chopper though! I’m gonna get the wife to cremate me and dump my ashes

Why yes, yes they are! The mirrors themselves are motorcycle mirrors but I built the stems and mounting plates and adjusters.
They’re quite dirty in this pic, welds look a bit like poo too. I was having some issues that day.

The wind on the edge of the Plateau
is probably Ever Changing.
High winds of the morning no winds of the evening.
Then the opposite the next day

Part of being in Tn.

Absolutely true. We actually live in a valley within a valley so we get winds from two different directions throughout the day from a gentle breeze to full on 60 mph gusts!
This is the wife splitting wood in the backyard, about a3/4 of a mile from the house.
