Thanks all.
The new ones are listed as for bottom, and they look like the thick ones. Makes sense that the thick ones would carry the weight and the thin would just help locate, so that's what I'll try. Good to know they are still available, even if a little pricey. As soon as I actually get around to doing this will report on if it really helps with the noise.
