is this really considered "Fair condition"?
Am I that far out of touch that this is nowdays considered "fair condition" for a piece of Suburban sheet metal?

Re: is this really considered "Fair condition"?
Condition is condition regardless of what its for. That is not what I'd consider 'fair' for anything.
Like those ads that say 'low miles for the age'. .. No, low miles is low miles (under 100k to me). I don't care if its 50 yrs old, 200k miles is not low miles. |

One without holes would be mint and one with just bubble rust would be choice
edit to add, I wish mine was that nice

Re: is this really considered "Fair condition"?
Heck yeah it is, haven't you heard? Near everything second hand is in "excellent" condition today, you'd be getting of cheap It's worth more cuz it's theirs.
Especially used cars on the web, where a link to the definition for excellent is best ignored.

Re: is this really considered "Fair condition"?
So its like when they say "50 is the new 30". It's BS as 50 hurts way more than 30 ever did.
Thanks guys!

Re: is this really considered "Fair condition"?
Maybe fairly poor?
On the other hand, I don't see any hits when looking for aftermarket, so maybe the price isn't so far out of line... |

Re: is this really considered "Fair condition"?
Apparently sh*t condition isn't one of the pull down menu choices when advertising stuff for sale

Yesterday when you posted this I was giving training on a new (less than optimal ) computer program the company has decide to buy. While the other instructor was teaching I was catching up on emails when your post arrived. The combination of the subject matter we were teaching and your comment made me spit coffee on my laptop and I started coughing and laughing at the same time. The other instructor and the whole class looked at me wondering what he had said that was wrong while I tried to regain my composure. I hope your happy!

Re: is this really considered "Fair condition"?
Your better off to buy a sheet of sheet metal, and make the panels your self, at least that's what I do.

Re: is this really considered "Fair condition"?
I gave a member a tailgate that was ten times nicer than that. Ugh, even at the lower price that thing in my mind isn't worth it. Maybe good for the hardware?

Re: is this really considered "Fair condition"?
If all the hardware was still in it it would be well worth the 125. It appears the push button assembly is missing so it makes me wonder what else. None of the pics show the end gate latches either
