none of the clip style caps will direct fit the nub wheels that I'm aware of.. in my case the 15" snap ring wheels were rusted beyond safe limits and not sure how plentiful any 16 or 16.5 clip 8 lug wheels are, where and how much, etc.. I haven't found a solution yet.. I have no idea why someone isn't making 60-66 3/4t style caps to fit nubs wheels.. I recently acquired some driver quality caps of each to experiment with.. wish me luck

until someone can post a confirmation, can you mount it up and see if it clears everything?
but your gm 16 is 6.5 wide and the fords are 16 x 7 so there may be minor differences there.. your 16.5s 6.75 wide? I can't imagine any issues unless you have some aftermarket or oversized disc brakes or control arms or something.. or the hubcap issue oem4me mentioned if that's of concern right for you..
