Upgrades to emergency /parking brake
Has anyone made any upgrade kits to the emergency /parking brake for our 60 model trucks? I know I can get new cable, but was wonder had there been any upgrade to the levers in the frame setup?

Re: Upgrades to emergency /parking brake
That'd be a good thing to make/sell. I haven't ever seen a kit like that (Levers Upgrade) for sale. Always old stuff if you can find it.

Re: Upgrades to emergency /parking brake
Maybe, can you pm or post a link? I have the X box frame the the current system mounts just in front of the shaft tunnel. I'll try to google to learn of the 66 system.
Thank You. Jake

Re: Upgrades to emergency /parking brake
Maybe this... https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Lokar...&smi_pc=strong i once did a Lokar foot operated lever kit on a '61. It worked out ok. I had to go with cut to fit cables and cable clamps. It took a little ingenuity, but it worked. This one is a hand lever kit for bucket seats, but Speedway has more kits than this and of course Lokar tech support might be of help too.
