After high school, a buddies dad bought a new 86 and had one of those bed covers on it. Moved a queen mattress in the rain, never got wet. Thought it was the coolest thing. First hard bed cover I ever saw. So much cooler than my dad's camper shell!
It had CHEVROLET name plate on the side. It was a tailgate nameplate from the brushed aluminium piece. Realized that while restoring mine a few years ago.
