brake parts suggestions

I need to replace the master cly, booster, and prop valve on a 71 c/10. looking for suggestions on the best value and fit for the money. does the smaller boosters fit correctly with the brake pedal rods, bracket, and brake lines or should I stay with the factory style booster? thanks for your help!

Re: brake parts suggestions

Master and booster I can understand replacing as an assembly, as a lot of rebuilders sell them as assembled units, since the master leaks into the booster. Why do you want to replace the proportioning valve as well? They are pretty much bullet-proof.

Re: brake parts suggestions

Less headache to replace as a matched set such as what rusty pile posted.

There are shops that will rebuild what you have. I've done it on my 67 Camaro and on my 72 k10 I'm building. It depends how long your willing to wait. But the results are really nice. I always have my stuff powder coated.
