Tailgate support colors
What are most of you doing with your tailgate supports, latches and trunions after a paint job? I've seen some painted to match the truck, some black and some chrome. Looking for ideas.

They were originally painted (at least mine were) if it's the original look you want.

I used Rustoleum bright galvanized coating for mine to try to replicate the zinc finish of the originals. Planning on the same treatment for the door hinges, striker plates, and good springs.
