TMI dash pad?
Is anyone running the TMI dash pad in their trucks? I'm just curious if it retains the holes for the stock speaker and vents as it looks like it covers the full dash....I'm considering one in my C20 Suburban.
Thanks Greg

Re: TMI dash pad?
I have not pulled the trigger on the pads yet. Funny i was looking at the about two days ago, I did see a review on the TMI dash pad that was not good at all the seller had to send it back to get it redone.
the OER ones listed on Summit racing got good reviews.... I personally am going to go with the TMI seats and door panels and was heavily thinking about the OER pad. it should be a standard pad as the picture might not be quite correct for the product

Re: TMI dash pad?
I wasted over $400 on one with shipping. I installed it and it was so tight against the window rubber that it made a horrible noise until two of the mounting studs broke off the pad. It does muffle the dash speaker. I took the old dash pad and stripped it down to the steel. I'm going to try to epoxy the TMI pad to the steel. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.

Re: TMI dash pad?
I appreciate the input. I may just pull the original pad off and see about having the local upholstery shop apply new foam and vinyl as needed.

Re: TMI dash pad?
Don't waste your money on the TMI dash pad. I ordered one and the vinyl was coming unglued and falling off straight out of the box! For the kind of prices they ask you would expect a quality item. I would go another route. I also ordered their center console and door panels. maybe the panels will be ok but im not impressed with their center console. the thing is built with fiberglass so thin you can see threw it and pieces of 1/4 plywood so that they can staple the vinyl. Once again for the money I would expect a product that would hold up not fall apart in a gust of wind.

Re: TMI dash pad?
I really like the look of the TMI seats, but reading this makes me question their quality. No one wants to spend that much money and have it come apart.

I'm probably going to end up replacing my two bench seats with 4 buckets from TMI but skip the rest of their stuff.
