removing clutch pedal
I haven't addressed the problem yet, but I am installing auto trans, and won't be using the clutch pedal. is it a simple plug and play or is there something I need to know to make sure the other pedal work properly?? And is there a plug that you can purchase to close the clutch rod hole in fire wall??? Thanks!!

Yes you can remove the clutch pedal. Remove the bolt on the arm on the right side of the shaft, that the clutch rod fastens to and slide the pedal and shaft out to the left. There is a metal clutch delete plate or a plastic plug for the hole depending on the year of your truck but either will work.... Here is a picture of the metal one. They come up for sale on the parts board from time to time. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=801720 LockDoc
