Topless on the Tail Of The Dragon

Curious how many will open just because of the title.

Anyway, my hood hinges are off to get rebuilt at www.hoodhingerepair.com, but it was way too pretty here in East TN last Sunday to just stay at home, so we took a Mother's Day drive on US129, The NC28 back into Cherokee, NC before heading back home. The wife rode with me in the truck while our sons followed in her Mustang.

Re: Topless on the Tail Of The Dragon

There's something about a righteous ride without a hood that say's "I just don't care what you think!" compared to a POS without a hood that says "I just can't afford it and someone will think it's cool!"

I still bet you can't wait to get some rebuilt hinges back on.

Nice photography!

Well we were expecting a pair of toplessness and there is only one.

Yeah buddy. Take advantage of a nice spring day when you can.

I opened it just because of the title. I cannot tell a lie. I thought there was a chance, and there it was, a beauty! Thank you!

I've done that road on my Harley twice. Just as scary the second time as the first. I bet it was a blast in the pick up!

I looked to see if you had removed the roof from your truck. Like some people have done to S-10's.

Re: Topless on the Tail Of The Dragon

I thought topless truck and wondered (but found hard to believe) if you made your top removable or you were in some other vehicle. The other topless (*)(*) would be a bad day on the Tail of the Dragon... more vehicles over the edge than ever!

I wish I was there. We would give them something to talk about. Just took the cover off mine this week. I want a personalized plate that says TOPLESS but Ky only allows 6 spaces on their plates.

Re: Topless on the Tail Of The Dragon

Thanks for all the compliments!! The rebuilt hinges actually showed up Friday. I dropped them off with the painter last night, so I should have them back and get the hood back on in a few days.

Re: Topless on the Tail Of The Dragon

Man, I love that stretch of road. Rode it several times on my Harley, but didn't think about taking the truck....hmmmm

That would be a road trip for sure.
