Fan Shroud question

I appreciate all the help you all have given me over the years here - thanks!

I have another project I am doing, and would like to add back in a factory style fan shroud. Where is the best place to find one, and were the stock ones able to accommodate an 18 inch stock steel fan? thanks! Ned

Re: Fan Shroud question

The second part of your question -- on my K20, yes, the stock fan is 18".
I'd guess others are too (except for BBC which I believe is 19.5").

Now that is interesting, since my truck had an 18" fan on it that appears to be factory. Just trying to get to the bottom of a heating problem that this truck had from '73 when my FiL bought it. That problem is gone now, but I'm always interested in how other people experience their trucks.

Re: Fan Shroud question

oem fans, couplers, and shrouds come up for sale fairly frequently here..

I've bought a couple of dandy 4wd shrouds which are less common..

good luck!
