GMC 305 v6 crank pulley removal question

I am trying to remove my pulley to add a 2 groove pulley.

I don’t need to pull the harmonic balancer.

Do I leave the big center bolt on and just remove the 6 small bolts in the pulley and then give a tap ? It should just come free and isn’t press fit on like the balancer?

The reason I ask is because it seems stuck but I didn’t want to force it and there isn’t a whole lot of room with the radiator in for a pulley puller.

Thanks!
