Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
Hi, wondering if anyone here has a ballpark idea if these 33 inch tires would fit my K10. I believe it is stock in front except for quad shocks.
Has 4” blocks in the rear If not, what is the best way to make them clear the front? Keep in mind I don’t want a huge lift. I recently purchased the truck and have never had one like it. Don’t know what would take to clear 33s without rubbing. Thanks. -Vinnie Pictures show how it sits now with 30” tires. 30x9.5x15 I’d like to pay a little less for the listed wheel/tire combo. |

Please excuse the sideways pictures. Maybe you can tell if there is anything under the front leafsprings

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
They should fit. I had a 75 that I tried to run 33s, but rubbed. But, they were on aftermarket wheels, so offset wasn't the same as stock. And the truck was prolly rode hard n put away wet. that plays a big part in wheel fitment. I'd say try it, if it don't fit, get a zero rate and some longer shackles, that would give you over an inch, might all that be needed. If not, put a 4" lift, or maybe a 2 1/2" if don't wanna go that much.

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
Thanks for the help. I think i’ll give it a shot and if it doesn’t fit i’ll Try the 2 1/2” lift. If I can’t strike a deal on the set listed I’ll be looking for something like it.

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
The block in back looks like 2.5-3 inches from the pic with the tape measure. The front looks to be lifted the same since the truck is the same height front and rear so I'd guess there's a shackle lift already.

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
Something going on there. those look like stock front springs, and with blocks in the rear, they might be 2wd springs. Get a pic of the rear spring front hanger, maybe this had some work done to it over the years. It would look goofy with a lift with those tires.

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
It looks to be already lifted so the tires should fit easily. They are priced at top dollar though.

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
They should fit fine HOWEVER those are priced pretty high make sure you look at the date of manufacture on the tires to make sure they're not too old. Just because a tire has plenty of tread doesn't mean the tires are good. Good luck and keep us updated.

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
Thanks guys. Here’s a picture of the front of the rear leaf spring.
I agree about the wheels/tires. I wouldn’t pay that much. It was just the exact combo I’m looking for if they fit. And it sounds like they might fit. Someone else is selling a set of tires. Close to brand new, but no wheels. It’s a better deal but I’d have to find the rally wheels for it. |

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
I agree they should fit if you’ve got a little lift. My K10 has 4” and 33x12.5’s obviously I’m not running rally’s but you get the idea.

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
Yeah, I asked here (73-91 forum) if anyone wanted a project (it actually ran good) but no takers. I probably should have brought it back home instead for the mice to chew on some more

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
Ya those things will eat anything.
Well I picked up a few (literally) wheels. So only 3. They came with only 2 caps and 2 rings. So i’ll Be looking for a single wheel (not lady) I’m still married ....and I can’t get this guy to go lower than $600 for these tires. They are practically brand new. |

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
Whatever you decide on, compare total cost -- including shipping, mounting, balancing, tax, and any other state or local fees.
Many tire shops will price match, just do your homework so they can compare apples to apples. If your area has an America's Tire, I have had very good experiences with them. I have also used TireRack in the past, just gotta arrange local mount & balance. Good luck and let us know what you end up with!

You're going to need a matching size spare

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
Ok, we are talking Vincent's late-'70s K10 here. It looks like it might be up a couple inches. If so, the 33/12.50s will fit if mounted on 8" wheels. I had a '90 Blazer I had the springs arched to make it sit level, about 2". Did nothing to the rear. I ran Bilstein shocks. I had BFG A/Ts mounted on 10" wheels and they might could rub a little sometime maybe just a bit. I didn't romp it off road and it only rubbed occasionally turning up a steep drive. It had Bushwacker Extend-A-Fenders and they never got messed up. It was my wife's daily driver

Re: Would these tires/wheels fit my truck
Thanks special-K, I was able to buy three wheels. They are 15x8. I’m still looking for a single to make a set. All the sets I found for sale locally have been pretty expensive. I was able to buy the three for $90, but they only came with two rings and two caps.
