New To Me '66 Burb
So I picked up this '66 Burb a few days ago. I'm more or a 67-72 Pickup guy, but I like the '60-'66 burbs better than the 67-72 one.
Anyway Fast plans are lowering hopefully with a simple airride setup and LS swap. Has the original 283 in it. It was a 3speed column, but someone swapped a 4 speed in it and chopped the trans tunnel out so I'll have to repair that. supposedly was an original Cali truck. It is very solid and unmolested.

Re: New To Me '66 Burb
Body and paint look naturally perfect.
And one of my favorite colors.

Re: New To Me '66 Burb
Are you going to keep it in its natural beauty?

That's a winner! I particularly like the single color with custom trim look.

Thats the plan. Keep it as is. Like I said there is a little damage on the left rear quarter. If I decide to fix it, hopefully I can blend the paint to match. There is also some holes drilled in the roof from a previously installed roof rack that need to be addressed. PO just filled them with clear silicone to keep water out.

Very cool! I also have a soft spot for 60-66 Suburbans. Look forward to your progress.

Re: New To Me '66 Burb
Absolutely!!! Honestly want to travel in this thing and have power plus reliability. I'm a SBC fan and have had plenty of them, but LS is the way to go.
