Bolting up that stack of parts is one of the more frustrating processes on these trucks. All the while worrying about raking the radiator fins. Studs make all the difference.

Oh sure,.... now you guys tell me this!!!! Who woulda thought to put studs in??!! Well ol' gorilla hands here made it work,... somehow. Got it all straight and bolted on. First test drive and I'm extremely confident I made the right choice thanks to y'all. It's running cooler now than it has since my short term of ownership, (20 months), and in the south Florida hot sun to boot! The only problem is since I straightened the bent fan blades, they're now making a horrid scraping sound, but I figure it'll stop pretty soon. Now I've just got to flush the radiator and engine.
