Correct motor mounts for 250 i6
Hey all, I’m ready to order my engine mounts but the brackets attached to my block do not look like everyone else’s. In the threads and videos I’ve seen the brackets attached to the block flange away from each other where as mine they fold towards each other. I have the perches already just trying to order the correct mounts. I would post pics but it says I can’t due to a security token missing? Contacted administrator but I’d like to get these ordered so if anyone can help by my description lol I’d appreciate it. Thanks!

Re: Correct motor mounts for 250 i6
Thanks for the reply, that bracket holding the mount is what I have been seeing on all the threads and videos I have seen. Where it bolts to the mount it folds outwards where mine folds in. Sorry, it really annoying that I can’t post a picture

I might be able to just get those brackets to be safe because those are the perches I have

When you go to upload a picture, upload only one picture at a time. If I try to upload 2 or more, I get that same message

Re: Correct motor mounts for 250 i6
Thanks for the tip, just tried and no dice. Think it hates me haha. The engine is a 250 out of a 67 camaro of that helps, not sure if that makes a difference for those brackets or not

Re: Correct motor mounts for 250 i6
I thing the engine mount brackets for a car will be different than those for a truck installation.

Re: Correct motor mounts for 250 i6
I will try to post pics again tomorrow but I’ll probably just try and find some of the same mount brackets for our trucks

Sounds like you got a great deal!
Hop on over to the FAQ board if you haven't yet. There's a couple different threads about posting pictures http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/f...splay.php?f=93
