dual tank switch difference

here's why I am asking. I am running two tanks on my ls1 swap and I am running two sending units and two pumps One in each tank. I a going to control the tank(pump) usage by running the power for the pumps through a switch I install in the cab. Going to duplicate this for the gauge. My question is can I use the newer switch as I need to buy two and will it handle the 12 volt from the battery. Going to use relays on both switches at this point not sure if I need it on the senders.
